Clusters, a cross-chain naming services launched in February 2024, is quickly establishing itself as a pivotal solution in the web3 ecosystem by offering a universal namespace.
The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) introduced in 2017, replaced complex hexadecimal addresses with simple, readable names but was limited to the Ethereum Mainnet. As more blockchains emerged, the demand for a broader solution grew.
Clusters, powered by LayerZero technology, meets this demand by providing a naming service that operates across multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), and Solana ($SOL).
What is Clusters?
Clusters offers a universal name that users can use across different blockchains, reducing errors and simplifying transactions. Each wallet linked to a user’s Cluster name can have a unique suffix, ensuring clear identification.
Additionally, Clusters provides a profile page at clusters.xyz/yourclustername, where users can manage linked addresses and connect social media profiles.
The profile also displays the combined value of the user’s multichain assets, which can be toggled for privacy.

Designed for a Seamless Web3 Experience
The service aims to create a seamless web3 experience through a single name and profile that functions across various dApps and blockchain ecosystems.
Currently integrated with over 46 networks, Clusters offers users a consistent name across these platforms. Several dApps, including Stargate, Tapioca, Yearn, Bebop, Gas.zip, and Omnicat, have also adopted Clusters for asset transfers and address replacement.
Since its inception, Clusters has registered over 125,000 names with users able to register names for 0.01 $ETH, excluding gas fees.
