The cryptocurrency ecosystem’s play-to-earn (P2E) gaming business is revolutionizing the economic foundation of traditional online games, thanks to blockchain technology. GALA, a metaverse crypto asset, is one such example, having more than doubled investors’ wealth in just one week. Players recently took advantage of the opportunity to make money while playing tokenized video games.
Snoop Dogg’s Engagement in NFTs Leads to the Growth of GALA Crypto
According to CoinMarketCap, GALA increased to $0.3718 on Thursday from $0.1799 the previous week. It additionally said that there are 6.98 billion GALA tokens in circulation.
GALA is among the top 50 most significant and essential crypto assets, having a market worth of more than $2.5 billion. The current inrcease has resulted in a strong profit-booking in the token, with the value falling by about 40% to $1.13 billion at 2 p.m. IST on Thursday.
However, market experts believe that the growth in the value of GALA isn’t a fluke and is underpin by fundamental factors such as Snoop Dogg’s engagement, NFTs, and the rise of the play-to-earn ideas.
“Hip hop artist Snoop Dogg has joined the GALA squad by asserting the launch of his new album ‘Bacc on Death Row’ music NFTs on Gala music thereby resulting in a rally in GALA costs.”
