The meme-inspired cryptocurrency Floki Inu (FLOKI) creators have announced plans to construct three schools shortly; one in Nigeria, one in Guatemala, and one in Laos. According to the team, the change is consistent with the project’s values.

In Nigeria, Guatemala & Laos, Floki Inu Will Construct Schools

According to a tweetstorm, Floki Inu will construct these schools collaborating with many groups. The Nigerian school will comprise six classrooms and a well-equipped technical block, computer lab, library, and administrative office.

According to the team, the school is being built “together with Tabitha Cumi Foundation, a United Nations Economic and Social Council NGO that has helped empower over 10,000 women and girls via collaborations with organizations and countries such as the Embassy of Japan.”

The school in Nigeria will serve an “underserved rural community of around 3500 people.”

The developers behind the meme-inspired cryptocurrency also stated that the Guatemalan school would have two classrooms; while the Laos school would have three classrooms.

These are the result of a collaboration with Pencils of Promise; a “global organization that has assisted in constructing 580+ schools.”
